Strong
Originating from Brazil
This Arabica coffee is grown on the high plains in southeastern Brazil. The coffee has an attractive, intense aroma with prominent caramel notes. All these notes are enhanced by our special roasting profile. The refined Arabica coffee we select has a characteristic sweetness and a distinct caramel note, with hints of chocolate and roasted bread. Velvety and powerful, this coffee offers a remarkable experience for the palate.
Brazil is the world’s leading producer of Arabica coffee.
These beans are mainly cultivated in the highlands of the southeast.
The alternating dry periods and heavy rainfall provide perfect growing conditions for the plantations.
PRESSURIZED PACKAGING: EXCLUSIVE TO ILLY
When coffee comes into contact with air, forty percent of the aroma is lost within eight hours. To preserve the coffee, it is usually vacuum-packed. Illy has long used a different technology, which is effective, patented, and exclusive. In illy cans, inert gas is introduced under pressure. This traps, fixes, and protects the aromas for a long time. Just like a fine wine, coffee in illy cans becomes more refined, the taste even rounder, and it is preserved longer. Inert gas (nitrogen) is not an additive and dissolves immediately once the can is opened.
