ILLY Espresso Intenso Bold Roast is daring, energetic, and to the point: a symphony of true flavors, a big step toward the cocoa aroma, beautifully combined with notes of toasted bread and caramel.
The illy blend consists of no fewer than nine types of Arabica, sourced from the finest harvests across three continents, picked by the best harvesters. Each variety adds a note to the final result. The proportion of each Arabica is constantly evaluated to guarantee a perfect and consistent taste, the unique illy flavor known worldwide for 80 years.
When coffee comes into contact with air, forty percent of the aroma is lost within eight hours. To preserve the coffee, it is usually vacuum-packed. Illy has long used a different technology, which is effective, patented, and exclusive. In illy cans, inert gas is introduced under pressure. This traps, fixes, and protects the aromas for a long time. Just like a fine wine, coffee in illy cans becomes more refined, the taste even rounder, and it is preserved longer. Inert gas (nitrogen) is not an additive and dissolves immediately once the can is opened.
