Coffee is believed to have originally come from Ethiopia. The Arabica coffee grows spontaneously in this country.
The refined Arabica coffee we select is unique for its sweet and delicate aroma, rich in floral notes of jasmine and subtle hints of citrus.
Which country is Arabica Selection Ethiopia from?
This coffee grows throughout Ethiopia, with a higher concentration in the southern part of the country. The coffee shrubs still grow spontaneously in the shade of vegetation, and the beans are often hand-picked.
PRESSURIZED PACKAGING: EXCLUSIVE TO ILLY
When coffee comes into contact with air, forty percent of the aroma is lost within eight hours. To preserve the coffee, it is usually vacuum-packed. Illy has long used a different technology, which is effective, patented, and exclusive. In illy cans, inert gas is introduced under pressure. This traps, fixes, and protects the aromas for a long time. Just like a fine wine, coffee in illy cans becomes more refined, the taste even rounder, and it is preserved longer. Inert gas (nitrogen) is not an additive and dissolves immediately once the can is opened.
