4 ☕️Ordering & Shipping☕️
4.1 What are the shipping costs?
At De Koffiebaron, shipping costs are calculated based on weight and destination. We use transparent and competitive rates so you always know what to expect. Orders placed on business days before 4:00 PM are shipped the same day via GLS, including Saturday delivery in the Netherlands.

4.2 How fast will my order be delivered?
Orders placed on business days before 4:00 PM are shipped the same day via GLS. In the Netherlands and Belgium, you will usually receive your package the next business day. Delivery times outside the Netherlands may vary. Check the exact delivery times at checkout.
4.3 Can I track my order?
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a track & trace code by email. This allows you to follow your package online and see when it will be delivered. Orders placed on business days before 4:00 PM are usually delivered the next business day in the Netherlands and Belgium.

You can only change or cancel your order as long as it has not yet been shipped. Please contact our customer service as soon as possible. Once shipped, we cannot modify your order, but you can return the package according to our return policy.
4.7 Do you offer free shipping?
Free shipping isn’t really free, as someone has to cover the costs. We choose to keep our prices transparent and competitive, rather than embedding shipping costs in higher product prices. 6.1 Can I return coffee?
At De Koffiebaron, customer satisfaction is very important to us. Legally, we are not required to accept returns of coffee beans or other products if they are in good condition.
Our customer-friendly approach: In most cases, we are happy to find a suitable solution together. Returns are always done in consultation. Products that are returned usually cannot be resold and are often donated to the Food Bank.
Valid quality complaints: If you have a complaint about the quality of our coffee and it is justified, we do our utmost to resolve it quickly and free of charge. We coordinate with the roaster and, if multiple customers report an issue with the same batch, additional checks are carried out.

6.2 What if I don’t like the taste?
Taste is personal and can vary from person to person. Legally, we are not required to accept returns of coffee beans if the product is in good condition.

- Natural product: small variations per harvest are normal
- Production defect: rare, but always investigated and resolved
Hygiene: Opened bags cannot be returned. For hygiene reasons, the Food Bank cannot accept them either.
