The Bristot Rainforest blend is made from Arabica beans sourced from Central America and Brazil, combined with Robusta beans from Africa. All beans come from plantations certified by the Rainforest Alliance. To carry this label, coffee farmers must meet over 200 strict criteria covering conservation, water management, and forest stewardship. Workers on these farms also receive at least minimum wage and good secondary benefits.
In more than 60 countries worldwide, the Rainforest Alliance works with farmers, workers, business leaders, governments, scientists, and local communities to promote socially and environmentally responsible practices. Despite all these standards, Bristot Rainforest remains a smooth, enjoyable coffee – a blend you can feel good about. With this, Caffè Bristot offers a fairtrade, certified coffee that’s both delicious and responsibly produced.
