In short:
Our packaging may sometimes receive a new look. In most cases, the contents remain the same. Only when something changes in the contents, we clearly state this.
Sometimes the packaging of your favourite coffee changes. This can be confusing, and we understand that. Fortunately, in most cases only the appearance has changed — the coffee itself remains exactly as you know it.
We work with a wide range of coffee brands and roasters. These producers decide independently when and how their packaging is updated, for example to improve sustainability, brand recognition or to create a more modern look.
We have no direct influence over these packaging changes. We are informed only when there is a change in the quality or composition of the coffee itself.
No, in most cases it has not.
The blend, roasting and quality of the coffee remain the same as you are used to. Only the appearance of the packaging has been updated.
Changes to the contents occur only when this is explicitly stated on the packaging. When the contents change, we are usually informed in advance by the supplier and make sure this is communicated clearly.
This may include, for example:
During the transition to a new packaging design, we often temporarily display the old packaging on our website. We do this intentionally to help customers quickly recognise their familiar coffee.
Once the new packaging is familiar to most customers, the image on the website will be updated. During this transition period, the contents remain the same, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Coffee beans are a natural product. This means the flavour may vary slightly from harvest to harvest, due to factors such as weather conditions, soil characteristics and harvest timing.
Our roasters do everything they can to keep the final result as consistent as possible. Through careful selection and roasting, the flavour remains recognisable and true to what you expect from us.
However, small flavour differences cannot be completely avoided. In most cases, these differences are so subtle that most people will hardly notice them.
We regularly taste coffees from our assortment to stay familiar with the flavours and overall quality.
With a broad and frequently changing range, it is not possible to taste every individual delivery. For this reason, we also rely on the expertise and quality controls of our roasters and producers.
Not sure?
Always take a look at the packaging itself. If anything has changed in the contents, this will be clearly stated. If you have any questions about a product or its packaging, feel free to contact us.
We make every effort to keep product information as up to date and clear as possible. The information printed on the packaging itself is always leading.
