Oriental Coffee

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 700 ml strong coffee, preferably Mövenpick Barista Espresso beans
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 cloves
  • 3 allspice berries
  • Optional: 2 cardamom pods (for an extra aromatic kick)
  • Cream and sugar to taste
  • Ice cubes (for a summer version)
  • Coffee cups and spoons from De Koffiebaron

How to Prepare Oriental Coffee:

  1. Place the cinnamon sticks, cloves, allspice berries, and optional cardamom into a pot with the freshly brewed coffee.
  2. Let it steep gently on low heat for 5 to 10 minutes. Do not bring to a boil!
  3. Strain the coffee and pour into beautiful cups.
